Job summary

Great Clips is seeking an Area Manager to lead one salon directly while coaching a group of nearby salons. You’ll mentor Salon Managers, ensure strong brand standards, and drive consistent performance across locations.

The role blends hands-on management with regional oversight, offering leadership growth and a path to greater impact. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, champion leadership development, and work across multiple sites to maintain customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous salon management experience.
• Cosmetology and/or barber license required by state/province.
• Ability to manage a salon's daily operations while supporting multiple locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Willingness to work across multiple salon locations within the area.

Responsibilities

• Manage one salon directly while coaching Salon Managers at additional locations.
• Develop managers, maintain brand standards and drive performance.
• Mentor leaders and help create a strong salon culture.
