Job summary

Great Clips is seeking an Area Manager in South Charleston, West Virginia, to lead one local salon while supporting a small group of nearby locations. You will coach Salon Managers, drive performance, and ensure brand standards are consistently met across the area.

The ideal candidate has prior salon or multi‑unit retail leadership experience, a valid cosmetology or barber license, and strong coaching and communication skills to improve sales and customer experience across several salons.

Qualifications

• Previous salon management or multi‑unit retail management experience.
• Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber license (state dependent).
• Ability to manage daily operations and motivate other Salon Managers.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage one salon while coaching a team across additional locations.
• Drive performance, develop salon managers, and uphold brand standards.
• Improve sales, control labor, and ensure a top‑notch customer experience.
• Collaborate across locations to maintain consistency and operational excellence.
