We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Unit Restaurant Manager at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA). What You’ll Do:
- Manage All Front of House and Kitchen Activities: Supervise and evaluate General Managers’ performance, ensure tasks and goals are completed properly, and provide feedback including disciplinary actions.
- Focus on Food Quality: Maintain food quality and standards; ensure recipe adherence and portion control, complying with company, brand, and food safety specifications.
- Cost Control: Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
- Lead and Develop Restaurant General Manager Team: Recruit, train, and communicate effectively with your team. Develop, plan, and assign daily goals, tasks, and responsibilities.
- Implement Guest Service Standards: Uphold brand standards and foster a collaborative, efficient work environment.
- Systems and Processes: Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and health/sanitation standards.
- Merchandising and Displays: Maintain merchandising standards, display presentations, signage, and monitor inventory levels.
- Office Management: Oversee funds, media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll tasks.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in monitoring sales performance through sales reports and market analysis.
- Problem Solving: Handle routine issues and escalate complex problems as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or coursework preferred.
- Experience: Minimum seven (7) years in restaurant/food service management, with at least five (5) years as a Restaurant General Manager in a full-service restaurant with bar environment. Experience managing multiple units is highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, POS systems, and full-service/quick-service restaurant operations. Culinary background is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively at all levels, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Financial Acumen: Strong P&L management skills, with the ability to teach and coach General Managers on financial performance.
