Charter Foods, Inc. seeks an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to perform year-round preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and HVAC/R within our restaurant locations.

The role supports the franchise network of KFC, Long John Silver's and Taco Bell venues and contributes to our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with HVAC/R, kitchen equipment, ice machines, and basic maintenance tools, and can lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/R systems and basic maintenance in commercial kitchens.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Comfort with basic computer skills for diagnostics and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and HVAC/R in our restaurants.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure minimal downtime.

Requirements:

• Experience: Entry Level 3 years
• Minimum Education: Technical School Graduate or Degree
• HVAC/R, Kitchen Equipment, Ice Machines, and Basic Maintenance Skills, Basic computer skills
• Skills-Physical: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to climb ladders.
