Urban Egg, a growing multi-unit breakfast-focused restaurant company in Colorado, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive actionable insights for operations and leadership.

This role partners with restaurant operations, payroll, accounts payable, HR, and executives to maintain financial discipline, support growth, and implement scalable processes across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze results and investigate variances from budget and forecast.
• Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset schedules across entities.
• Oversee AP/AR, cash reconciliation, and GL activities; support payroll/admin costs.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and executives to drive financial performance.
• Identify cost savings, margins improvements, and KPI development.
• Lead and develop accounting staff; build strong internal controls.
