Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on donut processing equipment and facility needs.

The role includes completing work orders, being on-call for emergency repairs, and performing basic machinist duties while ensuring safety and clean work areas are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining processing equipment and facility systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement repairs.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• Comfort with basic machinist duties and testing/adjusting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completes store work orders accurately and on time.
• Performs repairs and on-call emergency maintenance as needed outside normal hours.
• Performs simple machinist duties as required.
• Diagnoses problems, replaces parts, tests and adjusts equipment.
• Monitors and performs preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Reports any faulty operations or safety concerns to supervision.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas in compliance with regulations.

Job description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities including installation, troubleshoot, repair, preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on donut processing equipment and factory needs. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Completes store work orders, accurately and on time
• Performs repairs including being “on call” to perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment outside of normal working hours
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
• Monitor & perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
