McCans Sonic Group Multi-Unit Leader

As a McCans Sonic Group Multi-Unit Leader, you will be managing the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. You will also be responsible for training and supporting the drive-ins’ employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that our guests will have an enjoyable experience at Sonic! The job duties include:
- Managing, training, and coaching Working Partners/General Managers and conducting management orientation.
- Directing and assigning employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards.
- Overseeing multiple drive-in employees and management during shifts to ensure the preparation, presentation, and service of all menu items meet standards.
- Monitoring compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly and reporting them to supervisors.
- Reviewing employee and management work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Controlling costs related to food, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Reinforcing guest-first service principles and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
- Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
- Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Experience in multi-unit supervision is preferred.
- Availability to work a minimum of 5 days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
- Basic accounting and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and resolve problems effectively.
- Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
