Job summary

MarketSource is seeking a District Manager to oversee in-market operations, lead a team of retail sales reps, and ensure client program effectiveness. This role requires strong service skills, talent development, and the ability to manage both full- and part-time staff across the district.

You will partner with HR for hiring decisions, drive sales and guest experience, and report progress to program leadership. Some travel will be required across assigned stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; experience may substitute
• 3-5 years in training, sales, account management or related field; 2+ years in retail management
• Multi-Unit specialty retail management experience
• Proven leadership of multi-unit teams
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends; valid US driver’s license; travel 60-75%

Responsibilities

• Manages in-store execution, staffing, scheduling, and inventory across the market.
• Builds and maintains client and program leadership relationships.
• Drives sales productivity and guest experience through coaching.
• Ensures employee engagement and reduces attrition with KPIs.
• Leads hiring, training, and performance management of market staff with HR.
• Delivers regular program reports and communicates project launches.
