Job summary

maman is seeking a New Store Opening, Operations & Training Specialist focused on back-of-house openings. The role leads kitchen pre-openings, ensures food-safe, well-trained operations, and drives consistency from day one across new cafés.

The ideal candidate has multi-unit restaurant openings experience, a strong culinary background, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. This hands-on leader travels extensively to launch and reinforce operations in new markets.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in multi-unit restaurant openings.
• Strong culinary background with line cook experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory systems.
• Ability to lead hands-on training and coach in real time.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen pre-openings from setup through stabilization.
• Oversee equipment ordering, installation, and certification.
• Train teams on recipe execution, portioning, labeling, dating, and storage.
• Ro demonstrate standards and support cross-market openings.
