Job summary

maman is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, safety, and efficiency while leading the back-of-house team. You will own daily execution, inventory management, compliance, and profitability support without compromising guest experience.

You will train, schedule, and develop future culinary leaders, partnering with regional leadership to uphold maman’s high standards and culture at your location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of kitchen leadership or senior BOH experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering, and food cost control.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Own daily kitchen operations, including food prep and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent recipe execution, presentation and portions.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and prep spaces.
• Lead menu rollouts, oversee preparation, execution and training.
• Support events, ensuring food requirements and standards are met.
• Ensure health, safety and sanitation regulations are followed.
• Keep back-of-house areas inspection-ready and compliant.
• Obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certificate within one month.
• Hire, onboard, train and develop BOH staff.
• Schedule staff and monitor timekeeping for compliance.
