Responsibilities

• Assists in repairs and adjustments to carpentry, plumbing, wiring, HVAC, drywall, plastering, ceramic tile, painting, doors/windows and other minor maintenance to district facilities.
• Assists other maintenance departments and/or consultants in troubleshooting of miscellaneous repair projects.
• Determines equipment, tools, and materials required to complete assigned duties.
• Coordinates projects and tasks with school staff and informs site personnel about materials to remove and scheduling moves of students as needed.
• Maintains inventory records for service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Moves, positions and safely operates ladders and adheres to safe work practices.
• Performs site cleanup and restoration after maintenance tasks, such as removing surplus materials and cleaning surfaces.
• Responds to emergency call-outs after hours.
• Attends training required by the district to stay current with technology relevant to these trades.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
