Job summary

Providence Place at Ingleside is a dedicated 55+ active adult independent living community in Holyoke, MA. The role involves performing multi-trade maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional, with a day shift and full-time hours.

Compensation ranges from $18.07 to $24.56 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Requires HS diploma, 6–12 months of related work, and a valid driver’s license. Daily tasks include carpentry, minor electrical/plumbing, and painting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance to ensure safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing facilities.
• Perform limited electrical repairs and maintenance to ensure safe operation of electrical items.
• Perform limited plumbing repairs and maintenance to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Perform limited repair, prep and painting of walls throughout the facility.
