Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a mid-level maintenance worker responsible for semi-skilled tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering and mechanical repair in state facilities.

You will oversee offender workers and report to a supervisor while performing routine maintenance and operating grounds equipment in varying weather conditions. A relevant technical certificate is eligible for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with two or more years of experience relevant/similar to the listed job functions or completion of a relevant technical training program or job certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, mechanical repair).
• Oversee offender workers on maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Operate tractors, mowers, skid steer and other grounds equipment.
