Job summary

Vicinia Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of duties to maintain and enhance the value of the community, including repairs and improvements of vacant apartments to market-ready status.

Within a team with the maintenance team and community manager, you will handle work orders, ensure quality maintenance standards are met, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Reliable transportation with auto insurance required.
• 1–3 years verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.
• HVAC and related state certifications such as Certified Pool Operator; EPA certifiable status preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one major maintenance area and broad understanding of trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to maintain and enhance community value.
• Repair and improve vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Assist with work orders as directed by the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager.
• Work as a team with maintenance staff and community manager to meet quality standards.
