Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Byron Township, MI is seeking a warehouse order picker to select products from warehouse racks, assemble, palletize, and wrap items for customer orders. You will work in refrigerated and freezer areas as needed and operate powered equipment such as pallet jacks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 4.5 to 100 lbs, and be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately in a dynamic environment, following safety policies.
• Physical capability to lift heavy cases (4.5 to 100 lbs), push/pull, bend, and work in multi-temperature areas.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate, lift, and handle cases of groceries, produce, meats, and other products, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Operate powered equipment such as pallet jacks safely, conducting routine safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, report product issues, and utilize proper wrapping techniques to prevent damage.
• Follow verbal and written instructions precisely, adapt to assigned tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
