Job summary

Music & Arts, part of the Guitar Center enterprise, seeks an Area Manager to lead 2–5 stores within a defined district. You will build and coach sales teams, drive sales, rentals and lessons, and ensure strong operational standards across the cluster.

You will report to the District Manager with multi-store P&L responsibility for sales, margin, and EBITDA, traveling between locations 50–70% to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail store leadership or equivalent experience.
• Proven success managing P&L and delivering strong sales performance.
• Excellent recruiter, coach, and team retention abilities.
• Strong operational execution and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L results for 2–5 store cluster and drive sales, margin, and EBITDA targets.
• Directly manage and develop part-time and full-time associates across multiple stores.
• Ensure rental season readiness and adherence to operational/merchandising standards.
• Champion a customer- and educator-first culture and support educator relationships.
