Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Massachusetts seeks an Assistant to the Director of Retail Operations to support four dispensary locations. You will help oversee daily performance, ensure compliance, and support store leadership across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable traveling between locations, and capable of balancing administrative tasks with hands-on retail support. Cannabis retail experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail operations or management experience preferred.
• Cannabis retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting or managing multiple retail locations is a plus.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Ability to analyze basic retail sales and operational data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable providing direction and constructive feedback to store-level leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information.
• Working knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis regulations preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly between all four retail locations.
• Flexible availability when operational needs require additional support.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Retail with oversight of four dispensary locations.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, customer experience, staffing, and standards.
• Follow up with General Managers on priorities, tasks, deadlines, and actions.
• Help establish standardized practices across locations.
• Assist with store openings, changes, projects, and company initiatives.
• Provide on-site leadership support for staffing or operational challenges.
• Serve as an additional contact for General Managers when needed.
• Maintain regular communication on store performance and needs.
• Assist with weekly/monthly GM reporting and action tracking.
• Prepare agendas and materials for GM meetings.
