Job summary

SimpliSafe is seeking a Monitoring Licensing Specialist to own end-to-end licensing for our monitoring call center, managing applications, renewals, fingerprinting, and interactions with state agencies. You’ll safeguard regulatory compliance through cross-functional collaboration and disciplined tracking of requirements.

The role requires organizing license records, coordinating with HR and Legal, and providing updates to employees and leadership on licensing timelines.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3+ years in regulatory compliance, licensing administration, HR operations, legal administration, or related function.
• Strong knowledge of compliance documentation, background check processes, and regulatory recordkeeping.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear internal processes.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing detailed workflows.
• Experience building tracking systems and improving operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end licensing lifecycle across multiple states (applications, renewals, updates).
• Complete fingerprinting, documentation, and submissions (digital and mailed).
• Track licensing status and maintain renewal schedules to prevent lapses.
