SimpliSafe is recruiting a Monitoring Licensing Specialist to own end-to-end licensing, renewals, fingerprinting, and regulatory compliance for our monitoring call center. You will coordinate with state agencies, manage documentation, and prevent lapses while partnering with HR, Legal, and Workforce teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
The role requires onsite work, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and a strong ownership mindset.

We’re looking for a Monitoring Licensing Specialist to own the end-to-end administration of specialist licensing processes for our Monitoring call center. This role manages licensing applications, renewals, fingerprinting, documentation, and ongoing communication with state agencies to secure and maintain required credentials for employees.
You will play a central role in safeguarding our regulatory compliance through strong cross-functional collaboration and disciplined tracking of regulatory requirements.
This position is subject to applicable state and national background screening and licensing requirements. Employment is contingent upon successfully acquiring and maintaining various state licenses, some of which require completing all background or other checks and meeting and maintaining eligibility standards established by applicable regulatory authorities.
For roles requiring certification through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), candidates must be eligible for certification as an Electronic Security Employee. This includes submission of fingerprints for state and national criminal history searches and receipt of final approval from DCJS. Certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates where required by state law or regulatory standards.
Criminal history information will be considered only to the extent permitted by law and in a manner consistent with applicable federal and state regulations.
The target annual base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $105,000
This target annual base pay range represents our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. We use a market-based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually. We carefully tailor individual compensation packages, including base pay, taking into consideration employees’ job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and other relevant business factors.
