Job summary

Amazing Athletes is hiring Sports Coaches to work across schools and community centers, promoting life skills through 10 different sports. Coaches will enjoy a flexible schedule and earn a competitive hourly rate with on-the-job training and incentive programs.

New Coaches can teach 5–25 classes per week, earning between $25 and $30 per hour, with ready-made curricula and extensive training to help you succeed while engaging kids in a positive, non-competitive setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 semester units in early childhood education or child development.
• At least one course of three semester units in each core area (growth, family, curriculum, practices).

Would you like to earn above-average pay while staying active and teaching promoting life skills through 10 different sports? We offer a competitive hourly rate, training on the job, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs.

The Position:

New Coaches can work 5-25 classes a week, earn [25 per hr], and can earn up to [30 per hr]. Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!

• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success

The Schedule:

The majority of classes are held during the morning and early afternoon hours as well as weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below:

• Monday-Friday (Times): 800am-12:00pm & 2:00-5:00pm
• Weekends: (Times) 8:00am -1:00pm

The Location:

Classes are held across pre-schools/day-care centers, parks, recreational centers, and elementary schools. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.

Requirements

Complete a minimum of 12 semester units of course work in early childhood education or child development (excluding field work), including at least one course of at least three semester units in each of the following core areas:

• Child/human growth and development. ECE 100
• Child, family, and community, or child and family relations. ECE 200
