Job summary

Amazing Athletes is seeking coaches to promote life skills through 10 sports, with an above-average pay, on-the-job training, and a flexible schedule. Classes are conducted at pre-schools, parks, and community centers, with travel up to an hour to locations.

New coaches can handle 5–25 classes per week, earning 25–30 USD per hour, and have access to ready-made curriculums and extensive training for quick ramp-up and success with kids.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 semester units of course work in early childhood education or child development.
• At least one course of three semester units in each core area: growth and development, family and community, curriculum, and principles and practices.

The Position

New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week, earn [$25 per hr], and can earn up to [$30 per hr]. Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!

• Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach so ensure classes are fun and we create a stress-free environment
• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success

The Schedule

The majority of classes are held during the morning and early afternoon hours as well as weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below:

• Monday-Friday (Times): 800am-12:00pm & 2:00-5:00pm
• Weekends: (Times) 8:00am -1:00pm

The Location

Classes are held across pre-schools/day-care centers, parks, recreational centers, and elementary schools. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.

Requirements

Complete a minimum of 12 semester units of course work in early childhood education or child development (excluding field work), including at least one course of at least three semester units in each of the following core areas:

• Child/human growth and development. ECE 100
