Job summary

Danos is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator III in Kenedy, TX to support well operations, gas lifted wells, ESPs, and related systems. You will perform rounds, maintenance, and interface with craft personnel to maximize production while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, taking readings, issuing work permits, and coordinating with engineering and support groups. A valid US driver’s license and the ability to lift 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in oilfield operations.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college/technical training preferred.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and wear PPE.
• Live within 45 miles of Kenedy, TX.
• Must pass background, drug, MVR, agility and fit-for-duty checks.

Overview

As a Multi-Skilled Operator III you will be responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.
• Prepares for and performs maintenance, taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
• Proactively monitors well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.
• Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.).
• Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.
• Tracks test compression data.
• Conducts fluid levels with echo meter.

Qualifications

• Experienced level, 5-7 years of experience.
• Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
• Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.
• Performs routine, basic office/field tasks using established procedures.
• Makes decisions within broad parameters.
• High School Diplomaor GED required. College Degree or Technical training preferred.
• Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• PhysicalRequirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices
• Must live within 45 miles of Kenedy, TX
