Job summary

Monroe Group Ltd. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform general building repairs and unit make-ready duties on empty apartments.

You will handle work orders involving electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, lock replacements, HVAC, and related tasks to keep properties in top condition. Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and responding to 24-hour emergency calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair knowledge.
• Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred.
• Technical training and license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders and projects including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and related repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems.
• Assist in scheduling vendors and monitoring outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory; prepare vacant units to Monroe Group standards.
• Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance calls; on-call when required.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with all guidelines.
