Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for first shift with planned transfer to second shift around January 2027. The role covers installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, refrigeration, electrical equipment across the facility, plus general facility maintenance.

Candidates must have technical school training, ability to read schematics, forklift operation, welding basics, and knowledge of hazardous waste handling.

Qualifications

• Technical school training or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration.
• Ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste handling per regulations; training provided.
• Basic welding skills and strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform major installation, repair and maintenance on equipment following procedures.
• Ensure equipment repairs meet safety standards.
• Provide general maintenance department support and work as a team.
• Detect and report faulty operations to supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations and use safety equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and prep repair areas.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
