Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment across our facilities in Indiana. The role prioritizes safe, efficient servicing and proactive maintenance to support uninterrupted operations.

Ideal candidates will have machine operation and repair experience, welding competency, and the ability to read manuals and technical drawings. This full-time position may require occasional Saturday work and travel for parts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience/Education in machine operation and repair preferred.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
• Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Request support from other Maintenance Techs and Maintenance Managers as necessary; all maintenance positions support operations first.
• Safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools; welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with production welders, torches, saws, and finishing equipment; sand blast, powder coat, oven, or conveyor systems preferred.
• Diagnose/maintain/install production hoists quickly and accurately.
• Diagnose/resolve issues with overhead roll doors throughout the facility.
• Perform maintenance on other production equipment as directed; experience with sand blast, powder coat, oven, or conveyors preferred.
• Safely operate fork trucks and aerial lifts; rigging experience preferred.
• Perform electrical maintenance tasks including troubleshooting with a multimeter.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and rebuilds; experience with weld feeders, plasma torches, and saws preferred.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Observe all safety rules and promote system safety.
• Read/interpret manuals and technical drawings; basic computer skills.
• Be motivated, organized, and able to work from a daily schedule; preventive maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and reliability with the maintenance team.
• Maintain positive attitude and care for people.
