Job summary

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing work, grounds maintenance, fire alarms and sprinklers, security systems, carpentry and renovations, and responding to emergency repair requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of skilled-trade experience.
• Two years in a large maintenance facility or three years in a skilled trade preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds.
• Repair college equipment and vehicles and maintain records.
• Install and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain fire alarms, sprinklers and security systems.
• Assist with carpentry and renovation projects.
• Respond to emergency repair requests.
