Multi Skilled Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Seeking a motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Responsible for performing all job requirements and meet all qualifications as determined by management. The MSM shall perform duties under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, but works independently to perform installation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and/or design modifications of production, facilities, and utilities equipment including basic shop safety, plumbing, hydraulic/pneumatic, machining (as needed, if determined to be business critical), fabrication, electrical (excluding wiring & unwiring of devices), millwright and welding for the Fremont Plant.

• Starting hourly pay: $33.46/HR with a $1/HR increase after probation period, based on knowledge and demonstrated skill

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Attend necessary equipment/system training to become a Fremont Site subject matter expert, including training peers in new technologies learned.
• Assist in the development, implementation, repair, and maintenance of site-wide equipment to attain "World Class" performance.
• Perform system start-ups and operational checkouts, including qualifications and normal startups after PME's.
• Participate in project scope development, system design, and functional specifications.
• Utilize technical materials such as manuals, MSDS, safety materials, system and equipment drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot and maintain systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED required; strong computer and technical skills necessary for performing transactions and recording information.
• 4 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent CMMS system preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to obtain necessary certifications/licenses.
• Proficient in liquid/fluid components, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, utilities, welding, millwright, fabrication, machining, and power transmission systems.
• Knowledge of servo control systems, robotic systems, electrical and electronic circuits (below 480V), controls, and instrumentation including temperature, pressure, flow, and density.
