Job summary

Tyson Foods in Humboldt, Tennessee, is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for multiple shifts to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair factory equipment. The role requires the ability to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, plumbing and welding, plus experience with PLCs is a plus. Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 6 months of mechanic work experience or graduate/student of an industrial maintenance program.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing and welding.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment and assets to keep production running.
• Set up, adjust and breakdown production line machinery as needed.
• Record work orders and daily documentation in SAP and keep safe work practices.
