Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our facility in Springdale. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment in a fast-paced production environment, while following Tyson policies and safety guidelines.

You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, document actions, and work with the team to ensure production continuity. The position requires physical capability to meet job demands and compliance with safety programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an industrial maintenance program or have 6 months of experience in industrial maintenance or 1 year of classroom training from a technical college (proof of training with passing grade required).
• Industrial maintenance will be considered work as a fabricator, electrician, or plant maintenance listed on the application.
• Attach resume to showcase your experience.
• There is 180 days waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and assets following Tyson policies and procedures.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair of mechanical malfunctions.
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
