Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and improve equipment and assets across the plant. The role emphasizes safe work practices and strict adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

Under general supervision, you will handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems, performing PM tasks and documenting activities. Training on Lockout/Tagout and Fall Arrest/Prevention is required; overtime and weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Resume attached with related work history/experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent safety record; no active safety violations per policy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets while ensuring safety and policy compliance.
• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), and repair tasks on plants’ mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Complete required documentation and maintain tools accountability; participate in training levels (Lockout/Tagout, Fall Arrest/Prevention).
