Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls, welding/fabrication issues, and supporting safety standards.

The role requires hands-on skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/Controls, reading drawings, using EAM software, and may participate in small projects; schedule 2PM-12:30AM Sun-Wed.

Qualifications

Two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/Controls, with basic welding/fabrication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems within the material handling system under supervision for complex issues.
Must follow safety standards and participate in required trainings.
Microsoft Office and EAM software proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and coordinate with higher level technicians for complex issues.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to support repairs.
May participate in small scope projects and flexible shift schedules.
