Job summary

PM-Hospitality-Strategies,-Inc. is seeking an Overnight Hotel Engineer for Homewood Suites by Hilton Manhattan in New York, NY. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing hotel equipment across kitchens, laundry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms, with emphasis on minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year of trade-related training
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and fix equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure safe storage and use of chemicals and hazardous materials, with proper reporting.
• Secure the building by monitoring security systems and maintaining keys.
