Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a facilities maintenance worker to perform a broad range of routine tasks to keep our sites operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down ladders, basic carpentry, flooring work, and simple plumbing, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

The role requires 1–2 years in facilities maintenance or related trades, the ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders to 20 ft, and work in indoor environments with PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in facilities maintenance, construction, or related trade requested.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 20 ft regularly.
• Lift up to 50 lb and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Standing, kneeling, crouching and repetitive lifting described.

Responsibilities

• Set up, use, and safely dismantle ladders and temporary structures.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks across facilities.
• Remove and install floor coverings (tile, laminate, resilient flooring).
• Carpentry tasks (framing, door hanging, trim, shelving).
• Handle simple plumbing repairs (faucet replacement, drain clearing).
• Use hand and power tools; maintain equipment and document work.
• Support renovation projects, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
