Job summary

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) is seeking a facilities maintenance associate in Bradenton, FL. The role supports the Director of Operations and Operations Manager to keep campus facilities safe and functional for students, faculty, staff and guests.

The position involves inspections, minor repairs, and assisting with preventive maintenance, events setup, and grounds work. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with experience in facilities maintenance

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in facilities or equipment maintenance helpful.
Valid Driver’s License and evidence of insurability required.

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of facilities, and grounds for cleanliness and possible repair needs as directed by supervisor.
Use company-provided tools and test devices to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
Help to maintain the functionality of the buildings.
Assist in installing items and system components such as cabinetry, doors, and classroom equipment.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure availability in safe operating condition.
Operate LECOM-owned or leased vehicles for transport of materials and personnel in a safe manner.
Perform light duty vehicle exterior and interior maintenance.
Set up and remove equipment for LECOM events, including evenings and weekends.
Handle grounds and housekeeping tasks as needed.
