The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in building maintenance or 3+ years in related trades, and a valid driver’s license with CAST testing completed. Overtime, travel, and varying shifts may be required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum two (2) years as Building Maintenance Technician B or three (3) years equivalent HVAC/electrical/plumbing/carpentry experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid state driver’s license; CAST test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and operate related equipment and systems.
• Monitor work of others, including contractors, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain records and submit required reports.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications; utilize a computer.
