Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience assembling heavy equipment (forestry, recycling, construction, or mobile machinery).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hydraulic systems (open/closed loop, load‑sense, proportional control).
• Basic electrical knowledge (12V/24V systems, relays, sensors, harness routing).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with IQAN or other mobile control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components including frames, conveyors, rotor housings, feed systems, and guarding.
• Install hydraulic systems: pumps, valves, hoses, manifolds, cylinders, motors, and filtration assemblies.
• Route, terminate, and secure electrical harnesses, sensors, switches, and control panels.
• Perform hydraulic flushing, leak testing, and pressure verification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Align rotating assemblies, set bearing preload, and verify torque specifications.
• Install diesel engines, radiators, coolers, and powertrain components.
• Conduct functional testing of electrical and hydraulic systems prior to final QC.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve build issues and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Position Summary

The Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic Assembler is responsible for the hands‑on assembly of RagnarTech’s 9400/9700 Series grinders and related heavy equipment. This role builds complex subassemblies, installs hydraulic and electrical systems, performs functional testing, and ensures all machines meet engineering specifications, safety standards, and production quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components including frames, conveyors, rotor housings, feed systems, and guarding
• Install hydraulic systems: pumps, valves, hoses, manifolds, cylinders, motors, and filtration assemblies
