Job summary

You will perform hands-on assembly of frames, conveyors, rotor housings, and powertrain components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards. The role requires 3–5 years of experience with heavy equipment, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience assembling heavy equipment, including forestry, recycling, construction, or mobile machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble frames, conveyors, rotor housings, feed systems, and guarding.
• Install diesel engines, radiators, coolers, and powertrain components.
• Align rotating assemblies, set bearing preload, and verify torque specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Support functional testing of mechanical systems prior to final quality control.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve build issues and support continuous improvement.

Position Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for hands-on assembly of RagnarTech’s 9400/9700 Series grinders and related heavy equipment. This role focuses on structural, mechanical, and powertrain assembly, ensuring machines meet engineering specifications, safety standards, and production quality requirements.
