Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking an Operator Combo to support our manufacturing team in Northlake, IL. The role involves cross-training across several classifications and performing diverse batch mixing and filling tasks under the Production Supervisor's guidance.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, basic math skills, and proficiency in English. Training on three OJTs within nine months is required along with maintaining classifications and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Tablet / HMI / Scanners / Labels).
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and comprehension).
• Train on and complete three (3) OJTs for all required job clarifications within nine (9) months.
• Maintain status and certifications in each classification.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in multiple classifications and fulfill department and plant needs.
• Perform duties as Special Batch Mixer/Filler, Batch Mixer/Filler Blending, Batch Mixer/Filler UV, Pumper, and Certified Tub Washer.
• Operate forklift and monitor indicators (pressure/temperature/agitator speeds).
• Other duties as assigned and required by supervision.
