Job summary

UNC Health Medical Group's Hillsborough Urgent Care is seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient care across multiple locations. You will guide administrative and clinical teams, ensure safety, budget management, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in NC, 4–6 years of nursing experience including multi-site supervision, and relevant certifications. Onsite schedule, day shift, full-time opportunity with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program; RN license required.
• NC RN License and nursing specialty certification (CNML, CEN, NE-BC, RN-BC).
• BCLS certification and 4–6 years of nursing experience, incl. 3 years in management.
• Experience in multi-site operations and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment for patients, staff, and others.
• Supervises administrative and clinical staff; plans staffing; hires and trains.
• Leads budget planning, monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Coordinates with physicians and leaders; maintains open communications.
• Implements efficient systems; analyzes clinic functions for patient focus.
• Manages supplies and medications; ensures compliance with safety procedures.
• Identifies staff educational needs and conducts training.
• Develops and administers policies; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees performance improvement activities and OSHA/infection control standards.
• Monitors patient and staff satisfaction and implements improvements.
• Direct operational oversight of three urgent care locations and 10+ providers.
