Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama (ODC Alabama) seeks an experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to oversee our ultrasound department across four outpatient imaging centers. This is a working leadership role combining hands-on patient care with departmental oversight and staff leadership.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS/ARRT certification, breast ultrasound experience, and proven ability to manage scheduling, training, and workflow across multiple sites while upholding QA and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current ultrasound certification required (ARDMS or ARRT S).
• Breast ultrasound experience.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and changing priorities.
• Hands-on patient care alongside operational oversight.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ultrasound operations across four locations.
• Maintain credentials and accreditations (ACR requirements).
• Supervise imaging staff, including scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Ensure staffing coverage for extended service hours.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and competency assessments.
• Promote QA, patient safety, and consistent imaging standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and leadership to improve workflow.
