Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to oversee the ultrasound department across four outpatient imaging centers in Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur. This is a working leadership role combining patient care with oversight.

Qualifications

• Must have current Sonography certification (ARDMS or ARRT(S)).
• Breast ultrasound experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ultrasound operations across all four locations.
• Maintain all department credentials and accreditations, including ACR requirements.
• Supervise and support imaging staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and performance management.
• Ensure staffing coverage to support departmental needs and extended service hours.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and competency assessments for imaging personnel.
• Promote quality assurance, patient safety, and consistent imaging standards across all locations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and operational leadership to improve workflow and patient experience.
• Support Women's Imaging workflows and maintain high standards of patient care.
