Compensation: $70,778.03 annually
The Maintenance Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of Maintenance Workers and other workers who perform facility maintenance, repair, and construction activities including routine carpentry, painting, plastering, minor electrical work, minor plumbing, and installing or repairing locks. The Maintenance Supervisor also assists with grounds maintenance, transportation of personnel and supplies, documentation, and implementation of facility safety activities under the guidance of the Director, Building Management.
Supervise staff engaged in maintenance and repair projects, including carpentry, plastering, electrical work, plumbing, lock repair, vehicle maintenance, and groundskeeping.
Train, instruct, monitor, and participate in maintenance activities as necessary.
Implement maintenance schedules and conduct regular site visits.
Complete or oversee completion of work orders in a timely and acceptable manner.
Assign staff based on workload and available resources and coordinate emergency project coverage.
Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
Inspect work completed by outside contractors as assigned.
Prepare and maintain records of labor, materials, and completed work.
