Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Farm Supervisor to oversee multiple nursery sites in Guymon, OK. You will direct daily tasks, train staff, ensure SOP compliance and health protocols, and manage records and schedules. You will coordinate with vets for medications and monitor safety for people and animals.

The role requires strong English communication, biosecurity discipline, and willingness to travel daily between local farms.

Qualifications

• Two years of swine production experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple nursery farm sites and related personnel including day-to-day tasks of the farm, ensuring production targets are met.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate day to day farm activities and staff to ensure all daily and weekly production targets are met.
• Train employees on day-to-day processes and procedures, develop a competent workforce by utilizing hands-on training methods, providing feedback, and offering growth opportunities.
• Perform audits of the farm to ensure SOPs are followed and facilities are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of animals, personnel, and supplies on the farm.
• Manage all controllable costs, including supplies, labor, medication, etc.
• Create and manage employee work schedules.
• No hire/fire authority.
• Ensure health assessments and coordination with vet staff for timely medication.
• Ensure health and safety of employees and animals, submit detailed reports, and track feed and ration staging.
• Daily travel to local farms.
