Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Service Technician to support multiple Central 100 communities in Chandler and surrounding areas. You will handle maintenance repairs, keep units and common areas in top condition, and deliver the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

Ideal candidates have apartment maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing, strong communication, and a proactive, safety-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience as an apartment maintenance technician, service technician, make-ready, or related preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and general apartment maintenance knowledge.
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and vendors.
• Attention to detail with commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make-ready units.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units and common areas.
• Conduct daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Perform minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and report to Facilities Manager.
