Job summary

Mark-Taylor is hiring a Multi-Site Service Technician in Phoenix, AZ to support Elite North and Ascend at Kierland. You will perform repairs, maintenance, and make-readies to ensure our communities run smoothly and deliver five-star service.

Applicants should have knowledge across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool and carpentry, with basic English and computer skills. On-call rotation offers extra pay and certification incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn technician, make-ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make-ready units for the community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor AC/Heating faults, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing issues, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.

Compensation:

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $22.00/hour.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***

In This Role You Will:

• Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
• Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, assures pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
• Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and is readily available to go the property if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
