Securitas Security is seeking a Multi-Site Security Officer for the Joliet, IL area. This full-time role requires availability across days and shifts, with duties at various site locations.

Compensation is $18.71 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement within the Securitas network. The position emphasizes customer service, vigilant security, and professional interactions with clients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance required.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening (drug test and background).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in emergencies or investigations.
• Set up barriers/signage and provide directions or information.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required for assigned site.
