Securitas USA is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Joliet, IL to protect client premises with vigilance and courteous service. This role emphasizes access control, patrols, incident response, and clear reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with weekly pay, paid training, benefits options, and opportunities for growth through your dedicated regional support staff and development programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• HS Diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Strong computer/tech skills.
• 1 year security experience preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside the client premises in varying conditions.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to achieve site goals.
