Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Vernon Hills, IL seeks a Multi Site Security Officer for full-time work at multiple client locations. You will perform access control, patrol sites, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Must be available any day with at least two shifts; will be stationed at various site locations, as described in the posting. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is provided, and training is included.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification provided.
• Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
