Virginia Oncology Associates in Hampton Roads is seeking a Radiation Services Manager to develop, plan, and direct radiation activities across multiple locations. The role will oversee business management for the Radiation Oncology service line, drive measurable program growth, and ensure high-quality patient care while managing department budgets.

Travel between sites is required. ARRT certification is preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy is required, with a Master’s degree

Qualifications

• Five to seven years radiation oncology management experience.
• High level of analytical skills to develop and implement new systems.
• ARRT certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy required; Master's preferred.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the Business Manager for the Radiation Oncology service line, including practice management responsibility for several oncology clinics
• Developing measurable objectives and monitoring program growth, patient care and satisfaction
• Staffing, employee development, physician relations, interdepartmental relations and adherence to regulatory requirements for radiation oncology
• Providing support to the system level Oncology Service Line, and managing the Oncology budget
• Collaborating with clinical leadership at Network and facility levels on program marketing, business development, and outreach initiatives
• Conducting regular management team meetings and supporting department leaders
• Conducting annual job evaluations for team leaders and direct reports
• Meeting Workforce Metrics, Productivity, Financial, and Departmental goals and objectives
