Job summary

Tripalink, a leading co-living and apartment rental platform, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Seattle. You will survey buildings, repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform basic remodeling, and maintain HVAC and plumbing across multiple properties in the Seattle University District area.

The role requires hands-on trades experience, independence, multitasking, and timely response to urgent needs. A valid driver’s license and English fluency are required; pay is $25–$30/hour with

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as maintenance technician.
• Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and customer orientation.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common household appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to utilize smartphone apps to receive and execute work orders, monitor timekeeping, and maintain inspection documentation.
• Ability to stand for hours and lift heavy objects with a willingness to work overtime when emergencies occur.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Maintain electrical systems (replace light fixtures, sockets and breakers, troubleshoot circuit breaker panels).
• Conduct basic remodeling and construction (drywall, painting, carpentry).
• Maintain heating, plumbing and HVAC systems for functionality.
• Perform appliance repairs and replacements (microwave, laundry, dishwasher).
• Undertake pest control activities (spraying, baits, traps).
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (grounds, pressure washing) and other tasks as assigned.
• Assist in budget preparation and engage with special trade vendors as needed.
